Gibson Les Paul Historic R7 Gold Top, built in 2000. Start with one of the best pieces of wood you could find and then add a 1 meg volume pot at the neck, 57 Classic pickups and you'll have the beauty and sound of a vintage goldtop. Now set the action at 1/16th at the seventeenth fret and playability is second to none and the solid feel of this guitar is without a doubt  top shelf. No muddy neck tones here as is the norm with these R7s, the chunky D profile neck on this one is not for the faint at heart, but oh what tone! Comes with the Gibson Custom case and weighs 9.2 lbs. These are tone monsters and with the Tom Holmes pickups they sound clear and articulate but holy moly they come alive when pushed. A personal favorite of ours this is one to dream about. The guitar is near mint and sounds fantastic.
