Fantastic 1979 Fender Stratocaster in honey toned natural finish. This guitar is as near mint as you are going to get, you're going to have a hard time finding anything but pickguard marks or polishing swirls. Ok so we all know that Fender used the S9 serial numbered necks through late 80 an early 81 so a lot of the 79s on the market are later guitars right? Well take a look, everything neck body pots etc. are 79 right down to the grey bottom pickups including the legendary x1 pickup at the bridge. A true closet queen this is an amazing example. No issues, breaks, repairs etc. it is totally in-molested. Low action and great playability it does more than look good. Fret ware is so minimal we chose not to even re dress them. Weighing in at a hefty 10.08 lbs it is a monster. This is a fantastic find that will make you smile as soon as you open the case! Comes with a later Fender G&G poodle case.
