The Bumble Bee Standard with its distinctive yellow and black color scheme closely resembles the Bumble Bee Deluxe with a few subtle differences aimed at bring the price point to am even more affordable level. It is built with the finest proven hardware and electronics! It is capable of mellow jazzy P-90 tones along with the ability to cut through the mix with powerful leads and vintage sounding crunch. The Bumble Bee it is capable of covering all the bases. Neck measurements are as follows Nut-42 mm wide , 18 mm deep at the 1st fret, 54 mm wide at the 17th fret and 26 mm deep at the 17th fret. Yes even the screws and pole pieces had to be blacked out just like the Bumble Bee Deluxe it sports an action that leaves here set to 1/16th (1.5 mm) inch off the seventeenth fret (maximum playability and speed) with D A'ddario 10s you may want to raise it, now isn't that a pleasant difference! The hand wound Stinger P-90 sounds very similar to vintage late 50s to early 60s P-90s , Bourns low friction pots roll off smooth and efficiently and the tone is warm and creamy, couple that with the fact that each guitar is set up by hand for an amazing playability.
