Description

Done right here in the good old USA one guitar at a time! The Bumble Bee Deluxe gives you that nostalgic 50s tone and feel in and affordable quality guitar with a playability that will make you a believer. We decided to do a line of guitars designed to give the player an instrument that plays, feels and sounds like guitars costing thousands more at an affordable price without compromising quality parts. The Bumble Bee aptly named for its distinctive yellow and black color scheme, (even the scews and pole pieces had to be blacked ou)t is built with quality name brand hardware and electronics! It is capable of mellow jazzy P-90 tones along with the ability to cut through the mix with "stinging" leads and that vintage sounding growl that early P-90s are noted for. Neck measurements are as follows Nut-42 mm wide , 18 mm deep at the 1st fret, 54 mm wide at the 17th fret and 26 mm deep at the 17th fret. The Bumble Bee sports an action that leaves here set to 1/16th (1.5 mm) inch off the seventeenth fret (maximum playability and speed) with D Addario 10s you may want to raise it, now isn't that a pleasant difference! The hand wound Stinger Pro P-90 pickup is 50s wound. The pickup is built using a nickel silver baseplate, 42 AWG wire, A2 magnets, black oxide finished steel pole pieces, vintage shaped cover and is voiced to sound very similar to the vintage 1957 P-90 that we used to create the prototype pickup, Bourns low friction pots roll off smooth and efficiently and the Mallory cap is warm and creamy. The 50s correct wiring scheme allows the tone control and volume control both work together. The tone control affects the volume and shape of the guitar, and the volume does the same thing. Couple that with the fact that each guitar is set up by hand for an amazing playability. Hand made bone nut and sustain for days! Comes with gig bag hard case available at additional cost. You'll be smiling. Limited quantities will be built. Available for pre order at this time!
